For less than a year, in 1923-1924, Kafka lived in Berlin. The reason: a very young lady Dora Dyamant, employee at Berlin Jewish People's Home. He wrote here his latest happy short story "The little woman". Three month before his death he moved back to Prague.
Currently, the house is inhabited, but mentioned as a place of memory in various guides and presentations of Steglitz, a very quiet and flowerly during the spring.
